Gas prices suck

The local Exxon is up to a mind boggling $4.19. Are they effing stoned?

I like the idea that prices or crude are falling (some area pumps have started falling) and the first indication that the economy might be finally turning around.

The way I see it, if gas isn’t affordable, people don’t go out.. as commerce is the backbone of the economy, people need to go out and spend some money to get the economy rolling. I am, like most people, not doing all the things I wanted to do this summer simply because I cant afford to get there. Now picture say…. 2/3 of America with the same attitude.

I know full well that this there will always be hiccups in the economy. Until we recover, I heartily suggest GasBuddy.com to find your cheap gas needs.

And I heartily recommend riding a bike for all your commuting needs. Then you can thumb your nose at the gas stations!

A decent bike costs $2-300. I’d rather buy another guitar for that.. it takes up less room.

A local goodwill or salvation army usually has used bikes under $100, though..8 miles a day to and from work might make me.. fit… and sweaty.

We cant have that.
