Seattle is a gorgeous area. If you get a chance to go, take it. Nature at its finest is there for you to observe if you poke around a bit.

I broke even at craps, went on a few hikes and saw a Mariners game (3-2 over San Diego).

I found a coral-colored SG-X from 1996-ish in a pawn shop..

..that with a bit of work would have made a fine Bacon-themed guitar. I could have grabbed it for $600, then invest another $100-200 in parts & setup. It was covered in dings, scratches and cracks in the finish. Seeing that restoring it to a nice state was looking to cost the same as a new SG, I passed.
